Alaska Community Foundation Responds to Record-breaking Flooding

You can make a difference.

The Alaska Community Foundation has launched the Western Alaska Disaster Relief Fund to help residents affected by devastating flooding, extreme winds, and damage created by Typhoon Halong.

The Western Alaska Disaster Relief Fund provides immediate relief and recovery support to affected communities.

Grantmaking decisions will be guided by the following local, regional and statewide partners: 

  • Association of Village Council Presidents

  • Alaska Federation of Natives 

  • Alaska Native Heritage Center

  • Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium

  • Bethel Community Services Foundation

  • Calista Corporation

  • Healthy Alaska Natives Foundation

  • First Alaskans Institute

  • Kawerak, Inc.

  • Maniilaq Association

  • Native Peoples Action

  • Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation

For checks, please make them payable to Alaska Community Foundation with "Western Alaska Disaster Relief" in the memo line and mail to: 3201 C Street, Suite 110, Anchorage, AK 99503.
